How to avoid getting ripples on the screen’s material surface Problem: If the Aeon EDGE FREE® screen material is improperly installed, there will be unsightly ripples in the corners of the screen as seen in the photo. To avoid this unsightly mistake, please follow the illustrated steps carefully. Make sure the screen material’s corner is not installed in the following way. Incorrect material installation – Note that the ends are not properly wrapped on the corners. Use the grommet hook tool (included with the kit) to gain leverage. Pull the end grommets until the material aligns with the seam of the metal. Even a little overlap is fine. Solution: Correct material installation – screen material corners are properly wrapped around the corner edges and tension is properly created to create a nice taut surface. Once properly attached, make a final inspection of the screen’s front to ensure tension uniformity and then add the trim bezels.
