Alpha Gauging Ltd Data Capture Is Simple
Introduction With the IBREXDLL software, data can be recorded from most type of sensors. Data can be read in MS Excel and assigned freely to the cells of any Excel workbook. The captured data can later be statistically analysed by control charts, histograms, statistical data etc etc. Even if you have never used data capture before, you will find this simple.
Features • Simple and easy handling. • Characteristic and component dependant data collection. • Measured value collection by data key on gauge, by function keys on PC, or by foot/hand switch etc on interface. • Automatic assignment of measuring inputs to column or cursor controlled data recording in Excel table. • Display up to 20 measuring inputs on numeric displays with programmable tolerance limits.
More features • Time triggered data collection. • SPC elements ie control chart, histogram, statistical data…. • Zero and calibration adjustment of measuring inputs. • No limitation of standard Excel functions ie calculations with collected measured values. • Additional languages.
Bar graphs and numeric displays Remember this is just another window, place it any where on the screen. I told you it was easy!
SPC of collected results. From the current Excel table, highlight the measuring values to be analysed and press the key combination (Ctrl+) Alt + S. This will open a window requesting details like characteristic name, tolerances, sample size, types of chart required etc. Press OK, the statistics are calculated, a Bitmap is inserted into the current Excel sheet. Have a look at the next slide.
