Critical issues in interdisciplinary collaboration • Language of interdisciplinary communication: The absence of such language leads to the lack of understanding between representatives of different disciplines forming cognitive science. • Underestimation of results obtained by collaborators, as well as their research efforts (“It’s trivial, isn’t it?”; “We could have done the same stuff much easier”); • A certain degree of superficiality of interdisciplinary investigation due to the limited ability of collaborators to penetrate to the core of a neighboring discipline. • Organizational problems (prejudice, grants, institutional colloboration, etc.).
