Checkbooks Students write checks and balance checkbooks with real-world situations.
Partnerships Students form companies and manufacture a product to sell at the Money Market.
Advertising Posters containing company names, logos and a picture of the product are created by students.
Money Market The students buy and sell their products at the Money Market.
Teachers' Store Students spend company profits at the Teachers’ Store.

Machines & Motion Students do hands-on exploration with six simple machines.

Food Chains/Owls Students study food chains with a focus on owls and anoles.
Social Emotional Learning We will be using the Second Step program to teach critical social skills.
Reading Contest Students work in teams during reading incentive contests.
Assignment Notebooks Individual assignment books are completed on a daily basis.
