CARNIVAL AT PEZZANI. Every year between February and March we celebrate Carnival at school. The Carnival week goes from the Thursday before Shrove Tuesday. Then with Ash Wednesday Lent starts But beforehand we all meet in our gym hall, we parade with our fancy dresses

Every year between February and March we celebrate Carnival at school.The Carnival week goes from the Thursday before Shrove Tuesday. Then with Ash Wednesday Lent starts But beforehand we all meet in our gym hall, we parade with our fancy dresses And… we dance all together
We don’t dress up with traditional costumes but we make them by ourselves using poor material and recycling paper, plastic or fabric that we have at home Last year our YEAR 1 has worked on TIME and WEATHER So… We devided in groups to perform THE 4 SEASONS

WE USED “CLEAN” DUSTBIN BAGS OF DIFFERENT COLOURS AND WE DECORATED OUR DRESSES WITH LEAVES – FRUITS OR SNOW FLAKES ACCORDING TO THE SEASON THE SEASON TEACHERS
year 2013 Class 2 A This YEAR we were BEES BEES
In science we have studied the BEES and their enviroment, their different roles in the hive and their products (wax and honey). So we decided to paint our t-shirts in black and yellow stripes. For the antennas we used a black plastic dish and cardboard fixed with a rubber band.
class 1 D last year Le Goccioline d’Acqua – Little Water Drops We were THE WEATHER: FOG – RAIN – SNOW – SUN We made our costumes using cotton wool, aluminium foil and crepe paper on colourful painted t-shirts
Class 2D this year For Carnival 2013 we were POP ARTIST We visited an Andy Warhol temporary exhibition at the MAMBO Museum in Bologna that inspired our fancy dresses. We used cardboard and crepe paper for the wig and coloured cardboard for the glasses
