“Seeing and Seeing Again.” Optical illusions serve as a visual representation of the theme of the course. A single image gives way to an alternative image; perhaps best thought of, with regard to organizations, as perspective.
One of the handouts we received on campus were several pages from Michael Gelb’s book How to Think like Leonardo da Vinci. Two thoughts were expressed regarding the Mona Lisa: the first involved deceptive facial expression (it’s hard to gauge her mood), and next the identity for the painting, which is thought to be of Leonardo himself.
