Fire Station #39 Rehabilitation Project • Station determined to be seismically unsafe in April 2011 • Station determined to be eligible for designation as a landmark • WLC Architects has started design which will include: • Complete interior renovation • Seismic retrofit • New electrical, mechanical & plumbing systems • Accessibility upgrades • Project cost estimated at $2,400,000

San Rafael • 1600 La Loma • 748 Laguna
Temporary Fire Station #39 • 159 Glen Summer • Centrally located within Fire District & 5 minute response time to medical calls within district 90 percent of time • Establishes a two-person ambulance crew 24/7 to area where 75% of calls for service are medical • Up to 24 month lease with a number of options after 6 months for flexibility • Structure requires no improvements to accommodate use • Conditional Use Permit will be pursued
