MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ¨ ¨ ¨ ¨ ¨ ¨ Philippine flag vessel Licensed/authorized in Inter-island/coastwise trade Classed Vessel (except for wooden-hulled) All-Filipino, STCW – Certificated Crew Members ISM Compliant Vessel/Operator DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS 1. 2. 3. 4. • Letter of intent signed by the CEO or the COO of the Applicant-company/enterprise indicating the name of vessel, its authority to operate (CPC/PA/SP) in the domestic trade and the validity thereof, period requested and intended area of overseas operation. • Ship documents, as applicable, namely: • Cargo Ship Safety Equipment Certificate (CSSEC) • Cargo Ship Safety Construction Certificate (CSSCC) • Cargo Ship Safety Radio (CSSR) / Telephony Certificate (TC); • International Oil Pollution Prevention Certificate (IOPP); • International Load Line Certificate (ILLC); • International Tonnage Certificate (ITC); • Exemption Certificate (EC); • Manning Certificate (MC); • Passenger Ship Safety Certificate; • Document of Compliance (DOC) and Safety Management Certificate (SMC); • Cargo Securing Manual; • Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS); • Certificate of Fitness; • Crewlist; and • Photocopy of STCW Certificates of the Crew PROCESSING FEE VALIDITY 3 months or less P 5,000.00 Over 3 months but not more than 6 months P10,000.00 P15,000.00 Over 6 months to 1 year OTHER INFORMATION A Uniform Port Tariff (UPT)is being adopted at Brunei, Indonesia and Philippines ports within EAGA focus area REFERENCES: MARINA Memorandum Circular No. 166(Rules on the Utilization of Domestic Ships in the Overseas Trade/Operation) MARINA Memorandum Circular No. 143 (Rules and Regulations to Implement the ISM Code on Philippine Shipping) MARINA Memorandum Circular 119(Revised Schedule of Fees and Charges)
