Elbow/Forearm • All “flexors” are palmar side of arm • Forearm • Extensors are opposite and on the dorsal side of the forearm
Triceps Brachii • O: Glenoid Cavity of Scapula • I: Olecranon process of ulna • A: Forearm extensor; antagonist of biceps brachii
Brachialis • O: Anterior surface of distal humerus • I: Coronoid process of ulna • A: Arm flexor
Brachioradialis • O: Distal humerus • I: Base of styloid process of radius • A: Forearm flexor (thumb up)
Extensor Carpi Radialis • O: Lateral humerus • I: Second and third metacarpal • A: Extends and abducts wrist Extensor Carpi Ulnaris • O: Lateral epicondyle of humerus • I: 5th metacarpal • A: Extends and adducts the wrist
