  2. Jet Stream Band of super fast moving wind. Pushes weather around Blows West to East, but moves North and South from pressure Changes.

  3. Local Winds • Caused by differences in pressure. • bigger differences = stronger winds • High pressure air flows (blows) to lower pressure causing wind • High pressure air flows away spinning clockwise • Low pressure: air flows towards spinning counterclockwise.

  4. How does a pressure system and wind affect temperature? L Behind low pressure wind blows from north In front of low Pressure, wind blows from south.
