Guidelines for the Contents • Be polite and respectful • Use formal, standard English • Explain purpose quickly and clearly • Include all necessary information—see for each individual letter (why you wrote and what you are asking)
Request or order: • State the request (well in advance) and include a SASE • If ordering, include all important information. Give the size, color, brand name, cost, or any other specific information.
