Roger’s total expenditure and profit: Roger sold 120 rackets at $102.00each 120 x 102 = 12 240.00 He paid 80.00 per racket. 120 x 80 = 9600.00 He made a total profit of $2640.00 😆😃😏😁😊😖😤😇 🎆🎆🎆🎆🎇🎇🎇🎇
What could Roger have done differently? • 1. What would a more reasonable %age profit have been to start with? • Remember: Roger chose 70%. • ☑ choose a different percentage and work out how much profit Roger could have made while still keeping his customers happy. (maybe a %age that is less than 70%!!) • 2. Write your calculations in your book like this: • Costs: 120 rackets x 80.00 each • %age profit = ( choose your own percentage eg 45%) • Your %age x 80 = your profit per racket. • 3. Now add your profit to the original 80.00. This will be your selling price.
