February Status Report consisted of: • Noted Existing Board Committee Members • Provided Background on the Opportunity (2900 HE Institutions) • Stated How Initial Concerns were Addressed ($ for translation) • Identified Strategies & Goals; Action Items & Timelines • Board Approved the Recommendations to: • Proceed with an International APPA Model (North American continent) • Recognize 5 Mexico Chapters within 4 Regions (included Map) • Expand the Working Committee’s Membership (to include Mexico contingent) • Have Responsibility for Fees Handled by Membership Committee • Next Steps • Expand Working Committee - DONE • Prioritize Action Items - DONE • Establish Fees & Incentives - DONE • Modify By-Laws (map/ regional alignment) – IN-PROGRESS APPA MEXICO INITIATIVE

  9. Fees & Incentives: • Using soft approach of 90-day “Try Before You Buy” offer established by the Membership Committee (April 1, 2013) • Allowing full, annual Membership Dues on a “two for one” year basis APPA MEXICO INITIATIVE

Other Actions & Accomplishments: • 40+ membership packets distributed • 6 scholarships utilized for APPA 2013 conference • 4 of 5 Chapter CHAMPIONS identified • 2 Mexico Chapter lists provided for outreach • APPA 2014 conference Planning Committee participation • “Transformation” video subtitled & dubbed, under review • New, short video clip on “WHY APPA” testimonials, being considered APPA MEXICO INITIATIVE
