Introduction • New Regional and Center Websites • We now have a new portal for our Region that hosts websites for all Sai Centers in our Region. • To comply with National Guidelines, only some basic information about Centers will be displayed on the public home page of all Centers. • Detailed information that is relevant to Center Members is protected from public. To access this “Members-Only” information, all members need to register on our website. • This Registration also helps all Centers to maintain accurate record of Center Members • Members can update their contact information directly on the website to keep it current always. • Who needs to Register? • Regional Officers, Center Officers, and members of all centers. 3. Important Note • Our official website is: • www.sathyasaicenters.org • Always start here to access any page related to any center. Bookmark this website www.sathyasaicenters.org • Don’t bookmark any other pages, since their location may change as we develop our center websites and move to other servers. 4. Registration Steps • Go To www.sathyasaicenters.org • Click on “Please Register at our New Website”link at the top of the home page [also located below the picture]. • You will be taken to our new website: portals.sathyasaicenters.org/r05/ • Click on “Register” link located on the top right corner of the new home page. • Complete and Submit the Registration Form • You will receive an email message from admin@sathyasaicenters.org in your INBOX with your username, password, and verification code. You need this information to login for the first time at our new portal. This message will also contain a verification link you may click on to go the new portal and verify. 5. Verification Steps • You can go to our new portal by clicking the link on our Regional home page [as stated above] or by directly going to this URL” http://portals.sathyasaicenters.org/r05/ • After you login to the portal successfully, you will be asked to complete your profile (basic contact information and your Sai Center membership information). • Please complete and submit the form. • After your information is verified by your Center President, you will be granted full access to the portal. 6. Some Useful Tips • Username: • Please use the first part of your personal email address as your username. This way, you won’t forget your username. For example, if your personal email address is jdoe@yahoo.com, select jdoe as your username for portal registration. • Password: • Select a word or a phrase you can easily remember and difficult for others to guess. And then prefix and/or suffix it with a number or special character you will never forget. • If you forget your password, you can easily recover it automatically by clicking the forgot password? link. • Display Name: • This is the name that is displayed when you login, when you post a message in Forums, etc. So use a short form of your name as you would like to be addressed. • Email Address: • Please use Unique Email address for each member in your family. • Family Members: • Each adult member and Young Adult member of your family must register separately. 14. Open Your Email Account / INBOX New Message received from “admin” admin@sathyasaicenters.org All message from Region 5 websites / portals come from “admin@sathyasaicenters.org. Sometimes these messages may be delivered in your Junk mail / spam folder. Please look in those folders if you don’t find your Verification Message in your INBOX. 15. Portal address, Username, Password, and Verification code abcdefghi987 As a general rule, don’t click on any hyperlinks you see in your email messages. 20. Member Information All the items marked with an arrow are “required”. If a “required” item doesn’t apply to your situation please select None or enter N/A. Please try to complete as many items as possible even if they are not marked as “required”. This information is NOT shared with anyone; not even with other members or officers. Your Center President will use part of this information [not all] to verify / confirm your membership in your center. This verification will help us provide a safe and secure place for all of us to collaborate on this portal. 23. User Profile (Last part) You may use this space to enter any relevant information regarding your Center Membership and your association with Sai Organization. This is completely optional. If you have any questions about the website or the registration process you may use the “Contact Us” form available on every page of this portal. 24. Registration is Complete! You should see your “Display Name” here. Next time you login, you will come to this Region 5 home page directly. When you want to leave the portal, click on “Logout” link. If you want to change your Profile / Contact information in future, simply click on your name. You will be taken to Profile Update Page.
