  3. Materials • I plan on using EIFS for above and on the new entrance. EIFS is modern and easy to incorporate into existing stone buildings. • The use of columns for the entrance way would make the entrance way stand out and look very sophisticated. • I also plan on adding columns to the new and existing overlay. These columns are not for support but to tie in the new entrance way. • I would like to get a fiberglass cross for the new entrance way to match the existing these are rather inexpensive and can also be back light.

  4. EIFS • EIFS, stands for Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems. • EIFS can be stained to match any desired color including to match the existing Bedford stone. • It is the least costly exterior wall option at $10.50 to $12.00 per square foot of wall area.
