Group Overview and Operational Structure • Pick n Pay is a South-African based retail business in the fast-moving consumer goods industry operating +1,680 owned and franchised stores • Listed on the JSE Securities Exchange since 1968 and operates in the retail sector on the African continent. The Pick n Pay Group modernised and simplified its ownership structure during the first half of 2016, with the unbundling of Pick n Pay Holdings Limited • Retailer of food, non-edible groceries, clothing, health and beauty, liquor, pharmaceuticals, building and hardware and general merchandise CEO : Richard Brasher • Operates two divisions, the South African division and the African division, in seven countries in sub-Saharan Africa through: • The South Africa division trades from PnP franchise, PnP corporate and Boxer branded stores • The Africa division trades predominantly in the SADC region from PnP franchise, PnP corporate and Boxer branded stores, and includes a 49% share in associate Zimbabwean chain, TM Supermarkets
