GRASP Guide toDatabase Setupand Screening -See Message Center or Downloads -You will have an opportunity to add a student or use one of your students, take the screeners, and then delete the information!
Kindergarten & First Grade • Look at tests in Downloads • Make a list of what screeners you will give beginning, middle and end of the year. • There are several screeners. You can use them all or use some. You decide what works best and make it consistent.

Paper/pencil screeners Make enough copies of the test for each student Pass out the tests face down Read the directions Begin the test Stop the test when time is up Score the tests Enter data in the database Online screeners Generate test key Assist students in logging in and selecting the right test Read the instructions Begin testing Review to give the first universal screeners
Day 2 Training • Make sure you have completed all of your screening before coming to Day 2. • On day 2 we will use your data to do the following: • Tier 1 plan • Tier 2, 3 & 4 • Progress monitoring using probes • Inputting information into the GRASP database • More Reports
Make a Redelivery Plan • Who will redeliver? • Have students and teacher and student been imported? If not, let your trainer know. • Who will be responsible for assigning students to classes? • What will be your testing window? • Where do you find the screeners if you are giving them paper pencil? • Where do you find directions on how to give screeners? • How do you put a score in the computer? • How do you get a testing key? • How do you give a computerized version? • How do you look at reports? • Classwide Screening Average • Math Item Analysis • Student History Report
