Use of non-mandatory qualifications Employers/TPs can choose to use a qualification, even where one isn’t mandated, to help deliver the on-programme training as long as the content aligns with the apprenticeship standard. • Training for the qualification can be funded from the levy account • Registration and certification fees for the qualification cannot be funded from the levy account • In most cases, training will cover the majority of the costs of the qualification X0465

Qualifications available now • Business Administrator L3: • Pearson BTEC Level 3 Certificate for Business Administrators (3 mandatory units) • Pearson BTEC Level 3 Diploma for Business Administrators (8 mandatory units) • Team Leader/ Supervisor L3: • Pearson BTEC Level 3 Certificate for Managers (6 mandatory units) • Pearson BTEC Level 3 Diploma for Managers (12 mandatory units) • Retailer L2: • Pearson BTEC Level 2 Certificate for Retailers (7 mandatory units) X0469
