  3. Its all about the money • Most banks have some version of credit card partnered up with an airline • Check to see if you have a visa* *a visa is an exurban fee • set a budget • Alert your bank. Tell them you’re traveling.

  4. There • Pack lightly. Add a few basic sets of clothes, something to read, and small electronics’. • Think safely. Don’t carry valuables in a bag that can easily get stolen.

  5. Live cheap and easy • Buy your own groceries. • Do your research. Guidebooks can be great—but they can also be misleading. Ask around. Who knows better than the locals?

  6. Making memories • Go with the flow. • Make some memories. • Don’t forget home
