Inflow with Moderate to Low Phosphorus Concentration Settling Chemical Addition and Mixing Outflow with Lower Phosphorus Concentration Solids Disposal After chemical treatment, water is directed into a constructed wetland for additional phosphorus removal and conditioning. It is then discharged to the Everglades. Lab scale tests are used to determine the amount of chemicals needed to remove phosphorus.
