1. This PowerPoint will show you how to find out contact information about your advisor. The first step is to log into ecampus, go to: http://www.uri.edu/ecampus

2. Now click on “Student”

3. Now you will need to enter your ecampus user ID and password. If you’re having problems remembering your user ID and password contact the Help Desk at 874-HELP.

4. Once signed into ecampus, you will see an interface that looks like this, below.

5. Over on the left side you will see a link entitled “URI Advisement,” click there

6. Then click on the link entitled, “Make Appointment with Advisor”

7. If your major is not identified in the field entitled “According to our records you major(s) is,” please click on the drop down menu to view your major(s).

8. Lastly, click on the field entitled, “Advisor for the Major you have selected,” and select the advisor’s name that appears.

9. This will now give you contact information about your advisor. PLEASE NOTE: This DOES NOT create an advising appointment with your advisor. To do this, you will need to contact your advisor by phone and/or email, using the provided information. DO NOT consider your appointment date official until you have heard back personally from your advisor.
