DE treatment includes nutrition counseling and therapy, psychosocial counseling and therapy, and medical monitoring and treatments. There are ?ve levels of care (LOC) for DE designated by the American Psychiatric Association. The criteria for determining appropriate LOC relates to the facets of care provided, and some speci?c criteria is directly related to nutritional status. This webinar will provide details about assessment of appropriate LOC, the basics of dietitian responsibilities in each LOC, and how to properly transition between different LOC. Case studies will be discussed to apply information learned, with one more simple case and one more complex case. Whether you are a seasoned DE dietitian or just learning about the ?eld, attending this webinar should enhance your nutrition practice.
