This activity provides instructions on creating a flip book to learn and illustrate different stages of the cell cycle. Students will use paper squares, create illustrations, label structures, and provide bullet points with definitions.

Cell Cycle Flip Book Instructions • Get 6 paper squares from the front table….(2) of 1 color…(4) of another color. • PUT YOUR NAME ON THE BACK OF ALL OF THEM • On the front: a) Write the name of the stage of the cell cycle (Interphase, Mitosis [Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase,] Cytokinesis) • Interphase and Cytokinesis should go on 1 color…phases of mitosis on the other color. b) Draw a large circle. Make an illustration that shows what is happening in that stage of cell cycle. • YOU MUST INCLUDE ATLEAST THREE LABLES of STRUCTURES!!! • You must use 4 different colored pencils to show the 4 different chromosomes. EVERYTHING MUST HAVE A DIFFERENT COLOR 4) On the back: • Write the important information about each stage in bullet points • If a new term is introduced YOU MUST DEFINE IT!! The more definitions you have, the better your grade will be
