Pg. 105 • Metaphors: comparisons between two things that do not uses the word like or as: My head felt light, my heart an anvil. Pg. 104 • Personification: giving an object human qualities, such as feelings, senses and actions. And when I looked beyond, I saw a sea that was infinity itself, ready, eager to swallow me whole. Page 107
