BASIC RULES 1. Arrive to class on time. 2. Come to class prepared & turn in items when asked. 3. Absolutely NO CELL PHONES or iPods. (yes to ear buds/head sets for laptops) 4. No food, drinks, gum or water bottles are allowed in the classroom & no talking & walking, unless asked. 5. ALWAYS respect your teacher, classmates & KISD rules!

PC Tablets It is very important that every student has a tablet, headset or ear buds & their supplies every day! We will use tablets almost daily & in tablet mode. If the student does not have a tablet due to extenuating circumstances, please contact their administrator.

Supplies etc. Supply list: (White, hard 1” binder with clear pocket cover, No spiral notebook-just white, wide-rule paper, 5 dividers, blue/black pens, red pen, pencils). Students are to bring this, their textbook, & their tablet to class each day. I cannot store their books. They can use lockers or keep in backpack. I will be able to store their two workbooks here. They will tear out as needed. Books are required in case of no internet usage.
LANGUAGELEARNINGTIPS: 1. Master those French verbs. Practice them daily. Use them. Speak out loud, or with a partner! 2. Keep up with the work & participate in class! 3. Make lots of errors and "get them out of the way!" Work daily on new vocabulary. Make lists of words, or flashcards. Use mnemonic devices. Use your new words with friends and create and say aloud three sentences daily using your new French vocabulary. 4. Listen to French radio, TV, websites, etc. (like this one!) http://www.frenchpod101.com/french-word-lists/?coreX=100 6. Read for context, underline words you need to look up or write them down!
