What We’re Learning: Reading: Informational Text: We’ll be reading non-fiction books and discussing purpose and text features. Math: 1st – We will take our topic 9 assessment and we start to work on topic 10 “Adding with Tens and Ones”. 2nd – We will take our topic 9 assessment and start to work on topic 10 “Place Value to 1,000”. Science: We’ll look to finish our engineering kit by making our own pollinator. Special Announcements: Monday, Mar. 3rd: Parent-Teacher March Conferences – Scheduling Forms are coming home. Please return the form by March 10th! Tuesday, Mar. 4th: McTeacher’s Night @ 41st and Colby from 5:00 to 7:00! Tuesday, Mar. 4th: Silvertips vs. Kelowna Rockets @ 7:30. 4th & 5th grade choir is performing! Friday, Mar. 7th: LIF Friday, students released at 2:10. Welcome Denise! We have 26 students.
