Here are some of the key characteristics of this knowledge base: • Qualitative over Quantitative • Passed on to next generation through direct teaching and story-telling. • Focus on harvest and survival. • Observation over Intervention. • Cumulative and dynamic. • Adapts to social, economic, environmental, spiritual and political change.
