  2. Tips to reduce the risk of cancer • Avoid obesity • Eat several servings and varieties of fruits • Varieties of fruits, vegetables, and fiber • Limit fat intake • Avoid foods that are smoked or salted • Don’t drink alcohol as a teen

  3. Healthy Diet • Breakfast Either • 2 eggs • 1.5 cups of hot or cold cereal • 1 cup of oatmeal, farina, grits, or cream of wheat • 2 pancakes or 2 waffles • 6 oz. of yogurt

  4. BAD Diet • Chicken pot pie • Condensed soup • Fast food burritos • Cheese Cake • Store made cinnamon rolls • Cofee • Ice cream

  5. Vocab. • Obesity- 20 percent more weight than the desirable body weight.(being obese increases the risk of having cancer) • Antioxidants- A substance that protects cells from being damaged by oxidation.(have been associated with decreased rates of cancer
