  2. Yuki • 6th grader from Japan • One year in U.S. – lives with her family • Strong prior education, but struggles with speaking and writing. Her mother often corrects her work. • Very conscientious and easily overwhelmed • Quiet, but friendly • Seems to be liked by her peers, but doesn’t appear to have a lot of friends at school
