City Attorney’s Office • Multi-Family Housing Ordinance: We are working with Code Enforcement to draft, adopt and implement ordinance which establishes regular inspection of multi-family housing to identify violations of Fresno Municipal Code sections regarding housing conditions and abatement of those violations. • Schedule for circulation to City departments and presentation to City Council for public hearing and adoption.
Lead-Free Lowell • Code Enforcement Lead Safe Housing Team has completed a lead visual survey in Lowell to identify Pre-1978 Housing units in Poor Condition, with Visible Deteriorated Paint, and occupied by a Child under the age of Six. We have identified 115 qualifying properties. • The 115 properties identified will have a LHC Grant program information packet mailed to both tenant and owner.

Yes! Childcare providers, providing documented childcare on a regular basis qualify for assistance.

PARCS Department Improvements at Dickey Park • In March, 24 moms from Lowell Elementary teamed up with the City and Hands On Central CA for a day of service at Dickey Park. • Plans are underway to remove the wading pool and construct a new Splash Park at Dickey starting in May.
