  3. Background/How they got involved • Michael J fox was born in June 09 , 1961 • He him self had a Parkinson diseases and wants to help other people. • Ronald Regan was born in May 20,1958 • He was involved because he sees stem cell a future medical treatment for people.

  4. Changing the society • Believed that when we get stem cell to work proper it can save millions of people who are dyeing • When stem cell is in your body it can constantly spread and prevent injuries or diseases.

  5. Postive/negative • In February 2010 the British company ReNeruo announced that they were approved to treatment for spinal cord • Long term family who needs constant stem cell for medical can be high cost • Some people can create tumors in their body when stem cell is added to their body.

  6. Making this changes • Order to start these changes they needed lot of peoples support the stem cell. • started federal funding to help paid the stem cell development. • They were on news/radio explaining what stem cell is about to get people to support stem cells.

  7. Opposition • Didn’t believe we need to develop the stem cell because we already have advanced medical system. • It was unnecessary for spending time or money for stem cell • If we do get the stem cell the cost will be high for family to afford • People didn’t wanted to support stem cell because they think its unsafe for our body.
