  4. Floribunda • Clusters of flowers • 3-15 flowers in each cluster • Most colorful of different types of roses • Height: about 4 feet

  5. Hybrid Tea • Upright • One flower per stem • Flower has a high center point • Many are fragrant

  6. Grandiflora • Cross between floribunda and hybrid • Grows up to 6 feet • Flowers are like hybrid tea cluster

  7. Tree Roses • Hardy root stock • Long stem grafted onto long stem • Rose bush grafted onto long stem • Needs winter protection

  8. Shrubs • Small, spreading • English Roses • May be used as ground cover

  9. Annuals • Flower quickly • Last for one season • Long season of flowering • Usually sun loving • Need water • Plant after frost is past
