AC Bus Off (Turn-it-off) Essential AC Bus Failure 1. GENERATOR - OFF ensure load picked up, if not, figure out what is lost 2. FVL - CHECK FVL normal & nothing broke-CONTINUE FVL abnormal - lv GEN off & MONITOR FVL zero - DISC or ESP 1. ALL PROPS - MECH GOV 2. GEN (Essn AC) - OFF, Check FVL If FVL Zero follow GEN OUT If power restored, PROPS - NORM If power not restored, 3. ANTI-SKID - OFF 4. VG 5. INVERTERS - STBY 6. Reduce Load a. FUEL BOOST PUMP - OFF b. AUX PUMP - OFF c. SUX PUMP (both) - OFF d. TR 1 and 2 - PULL CBs 7. Check Essn AC CBs (P side+245), reset 8. ATM and GEN - ON, reset CBs again 9. If CBs still popped - ISOLATE Bus Isolated DC Bus on Battery Light 1. BATTERY VOLTS - CHECK If VOLTS < 24 then CONSERVE BATT 2. Conservation ideas:Interphone, CP Inverter, CP Secondary Lights Pitot heat (CP&NAV), UHF1, DC Voltmeter Note - FCB says 10 secs OK on initial pwr up

Suction Boost Pump Failure Loss of Hydraulic Pressure 1. SUCTION BOOST PUMP - OFF 2. RESERVIOR & PRESSURE - CHECKED If normal - minimize HYD use If not or P<2500 3. HYDRAULIC PUMPS (3) - OFF 4. Follow LOSS of HYDRAULIC PRESS 1. HYDRAULIC PUMPS (3) - OFF 2. RESERVIOR - CHECKED If level low 3. LANDING GEAR CNTRL CB - PULL 4. ISOLATE LEAK If leak in RUN-AROUND CIRCUIT 5. ESP - Consider Engine-Driven Pump Failure Controllability Check 1. HYDRAULIC PUMP - OFF 2. RESERVOIR - CHECKED If normal - continue If not 3. HYDRAULIC PUMPS (3) - OFF 4. Follow LOSS of HYDRAULIC PRESSURE 1. Check for Damage and Injuries 2. 10,000 AGL 3. Consider DUMPING 4. DESCENT CHECKLIST 5. Configure - watch split flaps! 6. Slow in 5 knot increments until: a. Approach speed -or- b. undesired control problems -or- c. stall buffet 7. Long flat approach at highest of: a. Approach b. 1.2 Vbuffet c. Undesired control problems + deltaV High Hydraulic Pressure 1. Pressure > 3450 - do not turn pumps off 2. Pressure > 3900 a. Pick Engine - CRUISE ENG SHUTDN if pressure stays high b. AIRSTART c. Other ENGINE - ESP
