Report • It is a group work • Use literature • From library and from SYKE people • on course web site • and data from different lakes (oiva-service and www.paijanne.org ) • Mainly Lakes Jyväsjärvi and Päijänne • Length: 4-8 pages • Examples from previous courses can be found form course web page. (Do not copy! If you use their information, use a proper quotation practice) • PPT-presentation for seminar from the same subject Timo Huttula

What to expect from the report? • Clear outline • Characterize the phenomena or method • Basic equations, explain them simply • Some illustrations (figures, tables) • If possible, discuss relevance to aquatic ecology • Discuss how present studies at JY/BYTL/WET relate or can be related • Apply normal standards of scientific report • Word document, written in English, Max 8 pages, Min 4 A4, Timo Huttula
