In the Hiring Manager tab select “View Applicant Pool” under the Posting and Applicant Review folder RECOMMEND FOR HIRE 3 4. Locate the Posting ID for the position in which you are screening and click on View Pool 4
RECOMMEND FOR HIRE • There are two options for Disposition applicants: • Multiple Applicants • Individual Applicant • Continue on next two slides Disposition applicants that were not selected for an interview 5
RECOMMEND FOR HIRE • Disposition multiple applicants: • Select “Disposition” on • Applicant Review screen • Place a check by applicants to • be dispositioned • Check all reasons that apply • Include date, initials and comments • Select “Disposition” • Select “Finished”
RECOMMEND FOR HIRE • Disposition a single Applicant: • Select applicant • Select “Disposition” drop down menu • Check all boxes for reasons that apply • Include Date, Initials, and comments • Select “submit disposition”
RECOMMEND FOR HIRE Record interview scores for each candidate interviews 6 Open the “Interview” sectionon the Applicant Review screen
In the interview section check the box “Selected for interview” • Select “Add Interview” • Fill in the date • Select the ellipses button in the “By” section to select your name • Select Round (first, second or third interview) • Enter Score • 3=Exceeds minimum required-Excellent • 2=Meets minimum requirements – Good • 1=Does Not Meet minimum requirement – Poor) • Enter Status • Selected for Position, or • Not Selected for Position • Enter Comment (e.g. Did not answer questions with depth) • Select “Submit Interview(s)” RECOMMEND FOR HIRE 7. “Add Interview” Data 7
In the interview section check the box “Selected for interview” • Select “Add Interview” • Fill in the date • Select the ellipses button in the “By” section to select your name • Select Round (e.g. 1) • Enter Score • 3=Exceeds minimum required-Excellent • 2=Meets minimum requirements – Good • 1=Does Not Meet minimum requirement – Poor) • Enter Status • Primary Reference Check • Enter Comment (e.g. Did not answer questions with depth) • Select “Submit Interview” RECOMMEND FOR HIRE Record Primary Reference Data 8
RECOMMEND FOR HIRE • Submit Recommendation for Approval • Select applicant you wish to hire • Check the box next to “Recommend for Hire” • Select “Submit Recommendation to Hire” • STOP! –At this point an automated email is sent to personnel specialist and Anna • Anna Stubblefield will confirm/decline via phone or email • Then make the offer to the applicant if approved by Anna 9
RECOMMEND FOR HIRE • Completed Recommendation to Hire after candidate has accepted position. • Return to Recommendation to Hire section • Check “Offer Extended” and include “Sent” date • Check “Offer Accepted” and include “Received” date • Check “Official Start” and include “First Day” date • Select “Submit Recommendation to Hire” • Now that your candidate has accepted the job, disposition the other interviewed candidates that were not selected
It is important to fill in all fields in order and include dates before select “Submit Recommendation to Hire.” These fields automatically send an email to HR telling the relevant personnel specialist that the applicant has accepted the offer while at the same time sending an email to the applicant congratulating them on their new job and letting them know their tentative start date as well as giving them instruction from HR • Once HR has completed creating the employee record, all dispositioned applicants for this position will receive an automatic email notifying them they were not-selected and the posting will be removed from the website RECOMMEND FOR HIRE
