  13. Why are you doing this project? Gets the Salt Out • Improves water quality and supply • Maintains river quality • Reduced ocean discharge volume • Makes groundwater improvement in Orange County more effective

  14. Why are you doing this project? Treatment of the future • Improves water reclamation • Expands treatment system capacity in OC • Makes upgrading to secondary treatment quicker • Better treats discharges at their source
