  1. RADAR: Radiation Detection And Remote Monitoring System Oilog Inc. Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  2. RADAR Overview • Satellite Tracking System • Bunker monitoring System Cost-effective system to remotely monitor and track industrial radioactive sources used in the Medical, Construction and Oil industries. System can simultaneously monitor multiple RA sources at multiple locations Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  3. RADAR Overview Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  4. Features & Benefits • Radiation Detectors and serialized source data • User friendly arming and disarming • 24 hour monitoring • Telephone/Pager notification of Violation • Command Custody and Control • Monitors all types of RA sources (Neutron, Gamma, Iridium) • 100% tamper proof Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  5. System Overview • Key pad Interface with Access control • Load Source • Online Monitor Option • Calibration • Lock Unit • Unlock Unit • Unload Source • Return Source Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  6. Keypad Interface • Monitors Radioactive Sources and controls Employee Access • Alarms on violation “Makes Phone Calls on violation” • Guards Sources in RA bunker Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  7. Load Source • Keypad interface gives the operator the option of loading a source for the very first time with a valid password. • The operator has a choice whether to load the source on the truck or Portable Offshore Source transport box. Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  8. On-Line Monitor Determines whether the owner of the source wants the capability of “Real-Time” tracking of the status of the vehicle and the radioactive source. Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  9. Calibration • The unit starts a one minute calibration. Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  10. Calibration Results • The counts per minute are recorded and maintained in memory. • These counts are recorded in the IDL-301. • After calibration, machine – operator – source verification verifies that the source is in place and measured. • RA counts monitored every 15 minutes. • Second safety locked door sensor monitor used to guard against unauthorized tampering. Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  11. Locked Unit • When RA source is in transit and is unattended. • RA source can be “LOCKED DOWN” and should anyone move the truck, open the source compartment or attempt to steal the source the system will alarm, call the operator, call the owner of the company, or call the radiation authority (NNRA). This call is an alarm and is mandatory. • The call is made on the Iridium satellite or via the GSM network. Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  12. Unlocked Unit • When RA source needs to be moved from Locked location. • Authorized employee keys in password and unlocks the source. • The truck or source container is free to resume its travel toward location. Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  13. Unload Source • The source has arrived the location in which the source is to be used. • Source is unlocked using a valid pass code and at that time remove the source to log the well or perform authorized activity. Oilog Inc. Alpha Neutronics

  14. Return Source • After logging is completed the source must be returned to the company storage. • In order to return the source it must be loaded and locked using valid password. • The source will be calibrated and compared with the initial calibration done at the company warehouse. • Once the calibration is complete the system sends verification that the source is loaded and the logging truck can proceed to another location or home.
