  4. Activities CIE • to encourage international knowledge exchange on - European Expansion - international heritage cooperation • specialized in mutual heritage cooperation • through Project and Expert Databases

  5. Context • 400 years of Dutch - Australian relations • Numerous projects and joint initiatives between the two heritage fields • Australia-Netherlands Heritage Contact Group • Need for overview of the cooperation

Activities to Date February: Perth and Geraldton March: Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide April: Brisbane, Hobart and Melbourne • The Netherlands January and May: Interviews • Australia February till May: Interviews & Stakeholder meetings • Database May till September: inserting information in database

  8. Inventory Focus on the heritage field, governments and researchers With information on: • Heritage projects • Experts • Organisations Stored in an online database

  9. Main Aim • To have an overview of the scale of the heritage cooperation, past and present • To have a better understanding of the possibilities and opportunities for future cooperation • To promote projects and follow new developments

  10. Your Participation Stakeholders are invited: • to provide relevant information during the inventory • to promote the project to organisations and persons of interest • to regularly provide, update and highlight the information in the database.
