About the career • Work 40 hours a week • A lot of overtime if on a case • Must be available o respond 24 hours a day • Required to carry a gun at all times
How is This Related to Crime • CSI’s are in charge of collecting physical evidence • Physical evidence is better than testimonial • Very important in solving the crime

Education Needed • A four year degree is needed • Generally in science ( Biology or Chemistry) • Less education is needed for a crime scene technician • Formal training is needed for the job • Police investigative abilities • Knowledge about search and seizure
