  2. What: Increase Involvement of Fathers in Treatment Process • Improve retention rates and child well being • Encourages healthy development of father-child relationship • Provide adequate funding and staff to effectively serve fathers

  3. How: Change Stuff • Create non-threatening event(s) • Ask for input • Provide information • Change staff schedules

  5. Program Changes • Fathers offered conjoint therapy, family class, and supportive services • FRC invites fathers to visit weekly • Fathers provide feedback about desired level of involvement in the lives of their child(ren) and family member

  6. Coming Attractions • Beginning Fall 2009: • Weekly “Focus on fathering” group • Curriculum derived from Strengthening Families and Fatherhood Project.
