  10. Cross-lingual text categorization in the IPC (IPCCAT-Neural) • Other findings through prototyping of cross-lingual categorization in FR: is it really 4%better? • Similar precision the first guess • Bigger standard deviation at the 2nd and 3rd guesses

Cross-lingual text categorization in the IPC (IPCCAT-Neural) • Other observations: • Cross language classification allowsbetter IPC coverage • Automatictranslation through a commercial productis good enough for IPCCAT (does not neednicetranslated sentences) • Evenbetterresultscanbeexpected if WIPO translate canbeused for Automatic translation (and is free of charge for WIPO)

Changes in IPC Definition Master files • As per CE 50 decisions further proposal for changes in IPC definition Master files (additional structure elements) • Paragraphs in Synonyms and Keywords sub sections • Addition of bold, Italic and emphasis in Definition Statement, Largesubjects and special rules • Version 3.2 of specification and XSD see CE501 Annexes 5 and 6
