What is our Habit? • Not Procrastinating: exam tomorrow friend gets injured late for work project due today car breaks down • Prioritizing: planning, goal setting essay due in a week exercise relationships relaxation
Not Being a Yes man: unimportant phone calls interruptions other people’s small problems peer pressure • Not Being a Slacker: too much T.V. endless phone calls excessive computer games mall marathons time wasters
How Can People Be More Successful Applying It? • By setting goals each week • By writing down assignments in the order of their due dates • By studying for tests, not just taking your chances • By not taking on to many tasks or activities at once • By balancing out your days ahead of time in an agenda
Quadrant #1-The Procrastinator • A Procrastinators motto, “I’m going to stop procrastinating-sometime soon.” • There mind wont kick into gear until there's an emergency. • Stressful way to live. • Don’t let this be you.
Quadrant #2-The Prioritizer • They save the best for last. • Make sure this is you.
Quadrant #3-The Yes-Man • Trying to please other people. • Always saying yes to people because your afraid you’ll offend them. • Feeling like a doormat for others to wipe their feet on. • Don’t let this be you.
Quadrant #4- The Slacker • Loves anything in excess, T.V., to much sleep, to many video games, to much web. • Long phone calls and mall marathons each weekend. • Being a professional loafer. • Don’t let this be you.
