ResearchEvaluation 2004-2008 researchers got published 515 articles in international scientific journals; 191 articles in domestic journals. researchers authored or co-authored338monographicpublications. researcherspresented 444 papers at international conferences (131 at conferences in SE Europe)and 239 papers at domesticconferences. researchers wrote 88 expert papers for international organisations and 66 for Slovenian organisations and the government. In addition, there were almost 900 articles in professional journals, newspapers etc COBISS database(Co-operative Online Bibliographic System and Services) CEK (Central Economic Library): 80,518 records

  20. Information and Documentation Facilities 1990 the European Commission granted the status of a European Documentation Centre (EDC)to the FELU. The Data Analysis Centre (PASEF) develops databases which are used primarily for research (both faculty and students). Currently the PASEF offers the following databases: financial reports of around 40,000 Slovenian companies provided by the AJPES (Agency for Public Evidence and Services of the RS) financial reports and some additional information for more than 8 million companies from 35 European countries for the past 10 years contained in the Amadeus database provided by the Bureau van Dijk; financial reports and some additional information of European banks in the BankScope database provided by the Bureau van Dijk; and online access to the DataStream database, provided by Thompson Financial.

  23. Internationalisation Around 150 international agreements (130 EU-Erasmus). 16 agreements with Equis & 13 with AACSB accredited schools. More than 50 countries worldwide (EU, BiH, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Canada, Columbia, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Thailand, China, Korea, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan). Annually more than 80 facultyand 15 staff can go on exchanges 83visiting professors Around 200outgoing students annually. Around 500international incoming students annually: Full time undergraduate: 142 students (49 Macedonia, 34 Croatia, 30 BiH … ); Full time graduate: 120 students; Exchange: 219 students.

  26. Ljubljana Summer School It is a three-week programme. Open to undergraduate and graduate students. Company visits. Socialising with people from around the world. Many courses to choose/ ECTS credits. FELU and international lecturers. Rich social and cultural programme. Around 200 students from more than 25 countries. “Take the Best from East & West”

  27. Confucius Institute at FELU August 2009 - establishment of the Confucius Institute at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics. The Confucius Institutes will provide the following activities: Learning Chinese Business Practice; Lectures in Chinese Cultural Environment; Lectures in Doing Business in China; Learning Chinese language; Exchanging students and professors; Organizing events and summer camps; Providing information and consultative services concerning China’s education, culture.
