Three Types of Symbiosis Parasitism Commensalism Mutualism
Parasitism One organism is helped, while the other is harmed. Head TAPEWORM: lives in the intestines of animals and humans.
Commensalism Neither organism is harmed, but one benefits… they live peacefully. Epiphytes, also known as “air plants” live on the bark of trees.
Mutualism Both participating species benefit. aphid honeydew Aphidand Ant
The aphid gets protection from the ant against predatory insects like ladybugs.
