Symbiosis. By: Rebecca Locey & Casey Early. Mutualism +/+. Both species benefit Ex. A bee taking the pollen out of a flower and carries to their nest. The bee taking the pollen out of the flower helps the flower grow. Commensalism +/0. 1 species benefits while the other is not affected.

  2. Mutualism +/+ • Both species benefit • Ex. A bee taking the pollen out of a flower and carries to their nest. The bee taking the pollen out of the flower helps the flower grow.

  3. Commensalism +/0 • 1 species benefits while the other is not affected. • Ex. A bird ridding on a cows back. The cow is helping the bird but the bird is not helping the cow and its not hurting it.

  4. Parasitism +/- • 1 species benefits while the other one is harmed. • Ex. A mosquito biting a human. Its good for the mosquito but can harm the human

  5. Mutualism +/+ • This the theory of Mutualism! • There are three types of Mutualism. They are Trophic, defensive, and dispersive mutualisms.
