Yes Election is conducted at a neutral site. No. Election occurs on company property. Employee Free Choice Act Amends NLRA to: • Remove barriers workers face when forming unions • Guarantee workers a contract when they form a new union • Strengthen penalties against corporations that break the law
Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act Establishes minimum standards for state collective bargaining laws, including: • a right to bargain over wages, hours and working conditions for public safety officers; • a dispute resolution mechanism, such as fact finding, mediation or arbitration; and • enforcement of contracts through state courts.
