  2. Who was Anne Frank? • A young Jewish girl living in Holland during the Second World War. • She wrote a diary about her experiences of hiding from the Germans. • Why did she have to hide from the Germans?

  3. Why her diary is important? • Anne’s diary tells the world about the suffering of the Jews in the war. • It is also a story about love and hope for the future. • Anne died in a Nazi concentration camp in 1945.
