Introduction to Kuali Coeus Kuali is a community of universities, colleges, businesses, and other organizations that have partnered to build and sustain open-source administrative software for higher education, by higher education. Coeus is an Electronic Research Administration system developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

  4. The Kuali Foundation The Kuali Projects are tied together by the Kuali Foundation, a non-profit organization that coordinates the efforts of partners, manages and protects the community's intellectual property, and handles common concerns among the Kuali Projects.

  5. Strategy Replace the current Research Management System. Proposal Approval and Support System (PASS) and the Sponsored Programs award management system (PAIS, RPS, PBS) with Kuali Coeus.
