  2. All departments are now live • SPA no longer accepting AA Form • Websites updated to reflect this • AA Form no longer posted • Replacing documents while in workflow (tonight’s turnover) Updates

  3. Budget Versions / Parameters: • Unrecovered F&A Field has been removed • Enter total costs cost shared • Award synopsis will no longer breakout direct & F&A cost shared - total

  4. Proposal Number implementation • Proposal Development Document – document of record • Award synopses will reference this proposal number • A Proposal Number lookup will be added in SNAP

  5. December 1, 2013 through March 3, 2013 • No system enhancements during this period • No formal hands on training • Immediate help requests only – via email Barbara’s Maternity Leave

  6. Reminders • Editing a Complete / Final budget • On the Budget Versions tab, on the Status menu, change the status to “Incomplete”. Click SAVE. Click Open. • Verify F&A Rate Type

  7. Attachments – where they go and why we care • Attach *ONE* proposal package in Abstracts & Attachments tab • Personnel Attachments panel is not in use • Attach Program Announcement / solicitation / instructions under Internal Attachments.

  8. Proposal tab – Organization Location panel: • FOR UCI LOCATIONS, use the lookup to search for building name • Congressional District is now auto-populated based on the code • Enter free text for *off-site locations only*

  9. More tips… • Changes to workflow and access – contact your Departmental Security Administrator (DSA) • Use MISC SPONSOR code 009850 as a placeholder • Refrain from replying to KC-Admin-donotreply email notifications • When in doubt, check the Route Log first, then SPA. • On Proposal Tab, Document Overview panel, utilize “Explanation” field. • Submit early!!
