Köprülü Mehmet PashaHe was one of the viziers of Ottoman Empire. He had many buildings built in the region.
The Stone Madrasah It was built by FazılAhmet Pasha between the years 1661–1662. It was built with Karacaviran stone which was a special stone material in the region. Now, the Stone Madrasah is used as public library in our region.
Inside the building, there were rooms for the lecturers. They are used for book storing now.
The Stone Madrasah The Stone Madrasah is under the protection of government now. It belongs to the state and public.
Itwasused as a bigbazaarwhich had a lot of storesforshopping. The Bedesten
Taşkale Mosque (Stone Castle) This building was built with demand of Sultan Ayşe who was KöprülüMehmet Pasha’s wife in 1659. It’s still used as a historical mosque for Muslims in the region.
Inside the mosque, there is a huge historical ceiling lamp.
“Taşhan” which means “stone house” is and old type hotel from the late years of 1400.
